Country or Jurisdiction Report Template

As in previous years, we ask all accredited national authorities to submit a "country report," outlining up to 3 significant issues that have had an influence on data protection or privacy in their jurisdiction during the last calendar year.  To assist in the compilation of these reports, we would ask that you endeavour to keep them to 2 pages maximum. However, some national DPAs may wish to incorporate text reflecting developments of sub-national authorities (e.g. provincial privacy commissioners' offices in Canada). 

Reports containing text reflecting developments at the sub-national level can therefore be longer than 2 pages. We would ask, however, that you limit yourselves to a 1 page text per sub-national authority, in addition to the maximum 2 pages for the section of your report dealing with the national authority. Please feel free to submit your report in either English or French.  The template can be found on the link below. The deadline for submitting country reports is June 20, 2007.
